Mechanical Engineer II

The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for providing engineering input to product development projects, including interfacing with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities- Designs, validates, and brings new products to market
- Provides technical support for assigned projects
- Specifies precise new product functional requirements
- Designs, tests, and integrates moderately complex components
- Evaluates design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Design experience with various materials and basic knowledge of material specs
- Experience with 3D modeling, FEA, CFD, and SAP or equivalent ERP
The employee will work in a fast-paced agile environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires occasional travel and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
