About the Role:

As a Member Service Specialist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members and promoting Credit Union products and services. You will be responsible for processing member transactions, addressing inquiries, and cross-selling relevant products to optimize member relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Process member transactions and address account inquiries efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide prompt and helpful service for a variety of financial transactions.
  • Analyze member relationships to identify opportunities to recommend and sell appropriate Credit Union products and services.
  • Engage in prospecting activities to meet sales goals and contribute to the growth of the Credit Union.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned, ensuring smooth operations within the department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products and services is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications is required.
  • A service-oriented attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working within a financial institution setting and maintaining confidentiality of member information.
