Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients pre-operatively to develop a comprehensive anesthesia plan of care.
  • Administer anesthesia in accordance with departmental standards of care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia care as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
