POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing essential information for management. This role is integral to supporting AWPTRAFFICSAFETY's mission and core values, focusing on the protection of our clients' personnel, business operations, and time efficiency. The representative will provide exemplary service to both internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing collaboration, teamwork, and effective communication to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle incoming phone and email inquiries through the Support Center.
  • Identify customer concerns and offer appropriate solutions or alternatives.
  • Engage with both internal and external clients to foster sustainable relationships and encourage company growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all communications to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Stay informed about current procedures and processes to better understand customer requirements.
  • Achieve personal and team performance metrics, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a pleasant speaking manner.
  • Preferred one year of experience in an administrative or customer service capacity.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities throughout the day.
  • Strong nonverbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The role requires the ability to manage the physical demands associated with the position, including:

  • Shifts that may vary, including holiday coverage.
  • Primarily sedentary work at a desk.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items.
  • Regular communication, requiring talking and listening.
  • Frequent standing, walking, or reaching as necessary.
