Assistant Principal

Role Summary: The Assistant Principal at PLA plays a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission, which emphasizes establishing a high-performance culture for both educators and students. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the principal to oversee all aspects of campus operations, including educational initiatives, administrative functions, student enrollment, staffing, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Principal, you will provide essential leadership to ensure the achievement and retention of our students and staff. Your responsibilities will include assisting the principal in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of activities and programs pertinent to the administration of our educational institution. At PLA, we are committed to the belief that every student has the potential to excel, and we strive to cultivate an educational environment that promotes success.

Performance Objectives:

  • Achieve a 10% increase in Mathematics proficiency
  • Achieve a 10% increase in English Language Arts proficiency
  • Maintain a 90% staff retention rate
  • Ensure 95% average daily attendance
  • Achieve 80% or higher stakeholder satisfaction
  • Maintain a 95% student persistence rate
  • Meet annual enrollment targets

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Administrator's License
  • Demonstrated success as an instructional leader
  • Experience in educational turnaround initiatives
  • Proactive problem solver with a positive outlook, capable of identifying opportunities within challenges
  • Exemplary judgment, mature interpersonal skills, and the ability to facilitate collaborative decision-making processes
