Job Summary

Purdue Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Payment Operations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and settlement of daily member transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and settle daily member transactions, including wire transfers, checks, deposits, and payments.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash letters, cash advance transactions, and general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve member payment and technical issues.
  • Identify and report suspicious account activity and potential fraud.
  • Perform quality assurance and risk management tasks, including reviewing and analyzing retail data reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in banking/finance and customer service.
  • Competent computer skills with experience working in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong quantitative skills, organizational and time management skills, and ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and handle sensitive, confidential information.
Work Environment

This role operates in a clerical office setting and requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift mail totes and files, and open filing cabinets.
