Purdue Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Payment Operations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and settlement of daily member transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Process and settle daily member transactions, including wire transfers, checks, deposits, and payments.
- Monitor and reconcile cash letters, cash advance transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve member payment and technical issues.
- Identify and report suspicious account activity and potential fraud.
- Perform quality assurance and risk management tasks, including reviewing and analyzing retail data reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking/finance and customer service.
- Competent computer skills with experience working in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong quantitative skills, organizational and time management skills, and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and handle sensitive, confidential information.
This role operates in a clerical office setting and requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift mail totes and files, and open filing cabinets.
