About the Role

The Licensed Optical Sales Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our optical stores. As a leader, you will supervise and develop our optical staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with patients and customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions to fulfill their prescriptive eyewear requirements.
  • Sales and Operations: Drive sales growth, control expenses, and ensure operational efficiency in our stores.
  • Staff Development: Supervise, coach, and develop optical staff to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
Requirements
  • Licensed Optician: Possess a valid license to practice as an optician in the state where the store is located.
  • Sales and Communication Skills: Demonstrate the ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products that meet their requirements.
  • Leadership and Management: Possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in POS, computer, and timekeeping systems, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers.
