About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dunkin' - Franchisee of Dunkin' Donuts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general, corrective, and preventative maintenance functions on our cooking and refrigeration equipment, as well as general interior and exterior building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Install, program, and test electronic, electric, and pneumatic controls and instrumentation
  • Assist in diagnosing malfunctions in systems and equipment
  • Execute major equipment overhauls and tests equipment after repairs
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Interact with and maintain records in accordance with Maintenance Management
  • Confers with and coordinates activities with the store manager to minimize disruptions to production and maintenance schedules
  • Escorts contractors while in the bakery facility on scheduled visits
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in equipment and building maintenance, environment troubleshooting, PLC software, etc.
  • Two (2) years' experience or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures
  • Formal training in related fields will substitute on a year for year basis
  • I/O and field devices and working with mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems preferred
  • Refrigeration, Welding, Boiler/Air Compressor, and Machinist experience preferred
  • Knowledge of equipment set-up, functionality, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques
  • Knowledge of operation of programmable logic controllers, personal computers, and current operating system software
  • Troubleshoots and repairs motor control centers, electro-mechanical drives, and sub-electrical panels using volt-ohm-amp meters, oscilloscope, and mergers
  • High level of organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High level of verbal and written English communication and observational skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
  • Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
  • Ability to function in a team management setting
  • Ability to train and direct personnel as needed
  • Thorough familiarity with food safety and good food manufacturing practices
  • Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Navigate up and down stairs
  • Standing/Walking/Climbing/Twisting/Bending/Stooping
  • Flexing/Extending/Turning the neck /Pushing/Pulling /Handling/Fingering/Feeling
  • Seeing/Speaking/Hearing
  • Ability to work in a hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environment
  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts
  • Ability to work Weekends, Holidays, and Overtime as required
  • Knowledge of building code and OSHA regulations
