Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of maintenance associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the functioning and maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Manage the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and tools, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance associates, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, ensuring that all agreements are in place and that services are being delivered as expected.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans, ensuring that the facility is prepared for any situation that may arise.
  • Space Management: Oversee the use of space and equipment, ensuring that resources are being used efficiently and effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all facilities and equipment are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a strong background in maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of maintenance associates.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as OSHA or EPA, are a plus.
