OBJECTIVE: The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of multi-tenant commercial properties and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute general cleaning and sanitizing tasks across buildings and outdoor spaces.
- Disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and dining facilities.
- Regularly empty waste receptacles and replenish soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in break areas as required.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, clean mirrors, windows, and doors.
- Vacuum and clean floors, carpets, furniture, and drapes.
- Report maintenance issues or mechanical malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain discretion and respect tenant and employee privacy.
- Efficient time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Capable of handling basic maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks.
- Proficient in safely using various cleaning supplies and basic cleaning equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing and walking, with frequent bending, pulling, and pushing.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Education & General Requirements:
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current car insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Compensation: $21.00 / hr. Health Coverage available
