About the Role

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, recovery, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients with diverse mental health needs, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Engage patients and families in education and support, promoting empowerment and self-management of mental health conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience working in psychiatric or mental health settings, with a strong understanding of patient-centered care and recovery-oriented practices.
