Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Alita Care, LLC. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and empathetic manner.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric services to assigned patients, including completing psychiatric evaluations, documenting patient interactions, and collaborating with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in the patient's medical record
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment outcomes
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and provide consultation on psychiatric issues
  • Take call and provide emergency psychiatric consultation as needed
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Licensed with the Colorado Board of Nursing
  • Must have a DEA Number
  • CPR and CPI certified
  • Three years experience in chemical dependency or eating disorders preferred
  • Two years experience with patient population served required
