Job Overview

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to individuals in an adult activity home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the nursing and medical requirements of each resident.
  • Formulate personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate with physicians to secure orders for medications and treatments.
  • Monitor and verify the correct administration of self-administered medications.
  • Document and maintain monthly progress notes regarding the medical services provided.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments effectively.
  • Provide essential health education to residents and their families.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of medical records.

Work Schedule: The RN is expected to be present on-site for an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday.

Consultation Requirement: If a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is employed, an RN consultant must be available for at least four hours weekly to provide necessary oversight and documentation of consultations during resident presence.
