Job Summary

LEAD Staffing is seeking a skilled Fabrication and Welding Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Part Numbers: Check and verify part numbers prior to assembly of product to customer specifications.
  • Fabrication and Welding: Using MIG, weld components together according to blueprints and drawings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed work relative to finish quality standards.
  • Operate Equipment: Learn operations of multiple jigs/fixtures within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet schedules.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Operate grinder, drill, band saw, torch, and crane as assigned.
  • Quality Assurance: Work within quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Notify supervisor of part shortages before the part runs out.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience: 1 Year of experience MIG welding.
  • Skills: Read and Understand blueprints and CAD Drawings.
  • Physical Demands: Read tape measure, operate power tools such as saw, drill press, and grinders.
  • Special Requirements: Fabrication experience REQUIRED.
