Job Summary and QualificationsThe Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible for providing outpatient cardiac rehabilitation services to patients who meet specific criteria for Phase I.
Key responsibilities include data collection and management for cardiology quality initiatives (such as AMI/HF Core Measures, Get With The Guidelines CAD/HF, and ACS/Chest Pain) along with other nursing duties as assigned. The RN also participates in departmental and hospital performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives.
Work Schedule:
No weekends or holidays.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with a diploma or associate degree.
- Prior inpatient RN experience is required.
