Job Summary and QualificationsAbout the Unit:
- 16 Bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- An average of 30 to 40 new patients monthly; typical length of stay is 10 to 14 days.
- Diverse patient population requiring medical management, including those recovering from strokes, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, and orthopedic conditions.
- A cohesive, team-oriented environment with high standards and accountability.
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director. This role involves caring for adult patients aged 18 to 64 and geriatric patients aged 65 and older, with occasional admissions for younger patients deemed appropriate for rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
- A current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a multistate RN license from a participating compact state is required.
- BLS certification is mandatory upon hire.- Previous experience in a similar facility is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of acute care experience or skilled rehabilitation experience is required.
