Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As an Assistant General Manager, you will have the opportunity to earn additional income through a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of U-Haul's 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program.

Job Description

As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your assigned U-Haul center. This will include managing a team of employees, making key decisions to allocate resources effectively, and ensuring that customers receive exceptional service. Your leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team will be essential in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and assign team members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality care.
  • Run daily operations in the General Manager's absence.
  • Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Leadership experience in any form.
  • Customer service experience.
  • The ability to work a variety of shifts.

Work Environment
