About the Role

Brickred Systems is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement industrial control systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation technologies.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and other automation devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate industrial control systems with other plant systems, such as HVAC, lighting, and security.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that operators and maintenance personnel have the necessary skills to operate and maintain industrial control systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, including design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and other automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
