Job Title: Master Technician, Building Automation Systems

Universal Orlando is seeking a highly skilled Master Technician, Building Automation Systems to join our team. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Building Management System (BMS) performance site-wide, ensuring proper system operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor BMS performance and maintain the DDC/BMS system site-wide.
  • Perform trend and history system logs to ensure proper DDC/BMS system operation.
  • Perform updates to the systems as required.
  • Coordinate with contracted service firms for more extensive modifications.
  • Coordinate with BMS technicians to identify and analyze system problems.
  • Make changes to the control systems and upgrades as needed.
  • Provide electronic maintenance support to the Maintenance and Ride & Show Departments as needed.
  • Communicate with HVAC technicians of any changes.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Technical school is preferred.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' electronic systems, programming and control technician is required.
  • Experience with computers and servers is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • A valid Florida Drivers' License is required to operate company vehicles.
  • Universal Refrigerant Certificate (Required).
  • Niagara AX Technical Certification (Required).
  • Johnson Control Metasys (Required).
  • Honeywell or any other Direct Digital Control (DDC) System (Preferred).
