Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales and delivery of Credit Union products and services to both new and existing members, including processing consumer loans, establishing new accounts, and promoting the use of technology.
  • Assist in managing branch operations, ensuring effective communication of information and directives from leadership to staff, thereby maintaining smooth operations and meeting member service expectations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all staff roles within the branch, periodically working in these positions to provide support during peak times.
  • Monitor branch financial performance, including loan and membership growth, and actively participate in setting and achieving branch objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with established loan policies and procedures, making sound recommendations for loans that exceed designated lending authority.
  • Maintain adherence to all applicable Credit Union policies at the branch level, managing security and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
  • May receive training as a Mortgage Loan Officer and assist in gathering preliminary information to expedite member requests.
  • Ensure that branch audits and compliance meet the Credit Union's standards.
  • Complete required compliance training promptly and adhere to all relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance ATMs and other operational equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and provide training to others as necessary.
  • Assist in managing operational expenses to optimize service quality for members.
  • Foster positive communication between members and branch staff, as well as among branch employees.
  • Supervise all employees within branch operations, including monitoring work schedules and addressing related issues.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training content for sales, service, and compliance to support staff growth and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the hiring process by assisting with interviews and providing recommendations.
  • Support the evaluation process for employees, recognizing exemplary performance and recommending salary adjustments to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate disciplinary actions when necessary, following approval from administration.

  • Adhere to assigned work schedules, which may extend beyond standard branch hours.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Potential exposure to safety risks.
  • Some business travel may be required.
  • Extended periods of sitting or standing may be necessary.
  • Repetitive motions and extensive keyboarding may be involved.
