Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Kitter to join our team at AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. As a key member of our Shipping and Receiving Team, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing parts and materials for production. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and prepare parts and materials for production, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and report inventory issues to supervisor.
  • Input and extract information from the ERP system.
  • Disperse materials into kits for assembly, pull and deliver materials to production departments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints, inspecting parts and comparing drawings.
  • Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy of shipment.
  • Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and log inventory shipped or received.
  • Inspect shipments for damages or defects, recording discrepancies and notifying supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
  • Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or inspection control standards.
  • Ability to use measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, knowing Microsoft Suites & Teams is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write and speak clearly.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to process routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, move and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a must.
