Key Responsibilities

  • Perform selected medical assistant and clerical duties to assist in patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles and respond to patient needs.
  • Provide care for the population served in the department.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an associate degree or diploma.
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training preferred.
  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.

Work Schedule

  • Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
    • Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
