Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Concord Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Interview patients in the exam room, obtaining and documenting relevant information for patient care.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, including stocking and cleaning.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient preparation and procedures.
  • Screen phone calls, identifying patient health concerns and directing calls accordingly.
  • Schedule patient appointments and referrals, demonstrating understanding of scheduling guidelines and patient needs.
  • Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
  • Utilize software for documentation, responding to requests, and initiating tests and orders.
  • Maintain clinical proficiency in practice-specific competencies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills and perform job-specific requirements.
Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training in a similar medical practice/field. Certification (CMA) or registration (RMA) is required. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers is also required.
