The IT Assistant will report directly to the Director of IT and will be responsible for:
- Managing systems administration tasks, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and VOIP systems.
- Researching and recommending hardware and software solutions tailored to our business needs.
- Providing IT help desk support, including troubleshooting and asset management.
- Communicating effectively through various channels, including email and in-person interactions.
- Overseeing network administration, including modems, routers, and servers.
- Implementing solutions within specified timelines and budgets.
- Creating documentation to assist users in troubleshooting potential issues.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- A strong desire to learn and develop IT skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Integrity and a commitment to safeguarding company interests.
- The capability to travel between locations as needed.
- Physical stamina for standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with batch scripting languages and experience with NVR and IP cameras is a plus.
- Experience in web hosting is advantageous.
- Full-time, in-office, Monday to Friday, with an average of 39 hours per week.
- Compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, based on experience.
