- Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of lighting apparatus to guarantee reliability and reduce potential downtime.
- Logistical Coordination: Manage the transportation, installation, and dismantling of lighting equipment for tours and events, ensuring all logistical elements are executed smoothly.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during the setup and operation of equipment.
- Issue Resolution: Swiftly identify and rectify technical challenges in high-pressure, live-event situations to ensure flawless performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of equipment usage, maintenance timelines, and technical challenges for ongoing enhancement and future reference.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in live event production, particularly in lighting engineering and technology.
- Proficient technical skills and understanding of lighting control systems and DMX protocols.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced lighting systems or comparable advanced technologies is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by the tour schedule.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy equipment as necessary.
- Must possess valid US work authorization or US passport; travel visas will be arranged by Amivision.
Educational Background:
- A degree or certification in Technical Theatre, Lighting Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
