Job Description

At Trigo ADR Americas, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Source Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Source Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspection operations of in-process or completed hardware, including dimensional and visual inspection.

The successful candidate will have experience in performing FAI's - AS9102, experience with hand measurement tools, and knowledge of CMM Inspection process. Additionally, they will be familiar with hand tools and gaging techniques, and be fluent in B/P interpretation and GD&T.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
  • Experience with hand measurement tools
  • Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
  • Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
  • Perform final inspection and receiving inspection
  • Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation
  • Process warehouse materials
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job
  • Support positive corrective actions and identification of root cause

Required Skills:

  • Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
  • Experience in performing FAI's - AS9102
  • Experience with hand measurement tools
  • MS Outlook, and EXCEL experience
  • Experience with hand measurement gages, conduct conventional inspection to engineering requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
  • Valid drivers license and auto insurance required

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality inspection tools and equipment
  • Experience in RCCA, and problem solving

  • Ability to press and analyze technical and business information
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills (verbal and written), ability to interact via telephone, email with co-workers
  • Ability to remain seated for up to 5 hours at a time
  • Fluent English - reading and writing is required
  • Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

  • 3+ years' experience as a quality inspector or technician
  • 3+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility
  • 3+ years' experience in inspection duties, FAI's GD&T, and b/p interpretation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Any combination of education and experience may be considered
  • The General Vision Acuity Test shall be performed by an Oculist, Optometrist, or other professionally recognized person
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Auto Insurance

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction. Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others. Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers. Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.
