At Assure Fertility Partners of San Antonio, we are dedicated to providing exceptional fertility care to our patients. As a key member of our team, the Charge Entry Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Review: Thoroughly review medical documentation to accurately assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for claim creation.
  • Data Entry: Enter CPT and ICD-10 codes into our system to create medical claims, and post self-pay charges to patient accounts.
  • Claim Submission: Prepare and submit electronic claims to the clearing house on a daily basis.
  • Clearing House Management: Monitor and address any rejected claims, making necessary corrections to ensure timely reprocessing.
  • Month-End Reconciliation: Compare transaction reports with daily schedules to ensure accurate billing of services provided.
  • Account Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information, following system procedures to ensure proper account status.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Certification: Medical coding certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: At least one year of work experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
