Key Tasks

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with EHS and Global Security standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage an annual budget for operational and capital expenses.
  • Team Development: Develop team objectives and goals, focusing on talent development and process improvement.
  • Real Estate and Tenant Relations: Act as the site's representative for real estate needs and tenant relations.
  • Culture and Values: Champion Agilent's culture, values, and ethics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or Construction preferred.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Engineer registration is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years of validated experience in HVAC mechanical design, facility/project engineering, or general contracting.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the life science industry or chemistries-based manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of design-build and plan-specification construction processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
