About the Job:

TOTE Services LLC is seeking a seasoned Vessel Inspection Professional to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. As part of our Vessel Construction Management (VCM) contract, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and workmanship of the National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV) built by Philly Shipyard, Inc.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise to ensure compliance with contract requirements and system performance throughout the build period.
  • Inspecting and verifying construction activities across various shipbuilding disciplines, including piping systems, electrical cable and equipment, fire/lifesaving systems, and deck equipment.
  • Representing TOTE Services in matters related to NSMV construction oversight and verification.

  • At least 3 years of experience in new construction shipbuilding, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs to manage documentation and reports.
  • The ability to work independently and under limited supervision, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced shipyard environment, with frequent interactions with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders. You must be able to:

  • Access all work locations without restriction.
  • Walk long distances on uneven terrain and navigate stairs or ladders as needed.
  • Work at heights and climb ladders safely.
