Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage as a security analyst on IT projects, responsible for collecting and evaluating documentation as part of the controls assessment process in accordance with Commonwealth SEC530 and IRS PUB1075 security standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to analyze user stories and identify essential security controls to ensure success criteria are met. Assist in determining necessary deliverables and documentation that demonstrate the implementation of controls for user stories.
  • Facilitate the approval of artifacts with the agency's Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) team. Aid in the identification and documentation of Plans of Action and Milestones for controls that are not met, in conjunction with the Technology Service Cyber Security division and project team.
  • Possess substantial experience in information security programs within regulated sectors such as government, healthcare, or financial services.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate experience in analyzing and supporting the implementation of information security and privacy controls based on NIST 800-53.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with agile methodologies is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Consulting and supporting technical teams in the implementation of security controls based on NIST 800-53 is essential.
