Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse-ONCOLOGY to join our team at MFSTalent.

**Job Summary:**

As a Clinical Nurse-ONCOLOGY, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an oncology setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Mobilize patients' strengths and abilities towards participation in recovery and control over plan of care.
* Obtain accurate and relevant assessment data and interpret the data as normal vs abnormal.
* Collaborate with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to develop an individualized plan of care.
* Implement nursing and medical interventions safely.
* Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and monitor patients for adverse responses and side effects.
* Monitor own practices and assist in monitoring others for practices related to patient and employee safety and compliance to standards and policies.
* Look for opportunities for continual improvement in patient care and the work environment.
* Learn and utilize available technology for communication, documentation, and locating information regarding unusual clinical situations, diagnosis, and treatments.
* Contribute to the knowledge and skill of other members of the nursing staff through formal or informal teaching, participation on Shared Governance groups, professional publications, and/or presentations.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
* Oncology background and experience required.
* Chemo certification preferred; neuroscience.
* Licenses and Certifications: CA RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensures And/or Compact State Licensures, BLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
