Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Hardware Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing computing hardware and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development of COTS or custom computing hardware and electrical components
  • Develop designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, and shelters
  • Plan, direct, review, and coordinate preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met
  • Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position
  • US Citizenship required
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience with Towed Array systems
  • Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
