Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dairy plant, adhering to USDA standards and company protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately account for all inventory used or lost during shifts, ensuring seamless production and minimizing waste.
  • Product Preparation: Follow recipes and procedures accurately and consistently, ensuring the highest quality of our dairy products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize processing equipment and ice cream machines, ensuring optimal performance and extending equipment lifespan.
  • Quality Control: Conduct laboratory testing and recording of milk received, ensuring compliance with state guidelines.
  • General Sanitation: Clean the entire dairy production room to company standards after every shift, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrate a strong desire to prepare high-quality food and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Understand and adhere to food safety protocols, ensuring the highest standards of quality and sanitation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, lift 50 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly, and maintain a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory setting and with pumps, tanks, and homogenizers is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a food preparation position is required.
