Product Development Specialist

At YETI Coolers, we're passionate about creating exceptional products that help our customers make the most of their adventures. As a Product Development Specialist - Bags, you'll play a key role in driving the development of our soft goods products from concept to production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our Industrial Design Team to understand the vision and direction for our products.
• Work closely with our Soft Goods Material Developers, Category Management Team, and factory partners to create products that meet our high standards.
• Troubleshoot design, material, and trim details to ensure our products meet our quality standards.
• Communicate technical drawing packages to our manufacturing partners and facilitate the product sampling process.
• Partner with Product Quality to ensure all assigned projects meet our demanding standards.
• Manage finished goods product testing with internal and external test labs to qualify new designs for production release.
Qualifications and Attributes:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in product development, preferably in bags and luggage.
• Experience working with soft goods vendors to bring products to commercial new products.
• Proficiency in building soft goods drawing packages and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience working within structured product development systems is a plus.
