Immunology Research Supervisor

Job Overview:
The Immunology Center is seeking a dedicated Research Manager to oversee and enhance our research initiatives. This role involves comprehensive administrative leadership, focusing on the development, management, and evaluation of research personnel and associated support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and supervise research teams, ensuring high standards of educational and professional excellence.
- Collaborate with financial managers to maintain a balanced budget and oversee resource allocation.
- Engage in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of research staff.
- Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders to promote a cohesive working environment.
- Manage logistics for research projects, including supply ordering and inventory management.
- Conduct cost analyses and optimize experimental procedures to enhance research efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. from an accredited institution with relevant experience in research management. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s degree and significant experience in grant management and quality assurance will be considered.
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in relevant software applications. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in research is essential.
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with the possibility of additional hours as needed to meet project demands.
