Job Summary

Carle Health is seeking a highly skilled Community Support Technician to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide behavioral health assessment and treatment planning, case management, support, education, and consultation to individuals enrolled in our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile crisis response and intervention to ACT clients
  • Function as an effective team member and represent the agency in a professional manner
  • Provide substance use services to ACT clients and fulfill the ACT Substance Abuse Specialist role
  • Participate in in-service and competency training
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Prepare special reports as needed on activities and work group activities
  • Meet clinical productivity standards
  • Meet compliance standards for all documentation and clinical charts
Requirements
  • At least one (1) year training or clinical experience in substance abuse treatment
  • Ability to work within a provider agency's structure and accept supervision
  • Ability to work constructively with individuals receiving services, other providers of service, and the community
  • Ability to delegate wisely, exercise good judgment, maintain good interpersonal relationships, adapt to change, evaluate critically, and think creatively
