Position Overview:
As a Senior Strategic Advisor, you will leverage your expertise to facilitate the creation, oversight, and evaluation of strategic and planning documents, as well as lead discussions with senior leadership on these critical topics. Your role will involve conducting research, drafting, and coordinating strategic documentation across the Department of Defense.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in national security roles within a Combatant Command, Military Service, Joint Staff, congressional office, or think tank.
  • Familiarity with the Department of Defense's strategic planning processes and key strategic documents.
  • Proficiency in preparing and presenting materials to senior executives.
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Security Studies, Foreign Policy, History, or Public Policy is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is essential.

Salary at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and specific contract requirements. The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for this role and is part of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package.
