About the Role:

Tufts Medicine is seeking an experienced ED RN to join our team as a Trauma Performance Improvement RN. This role focuses on developing and implementing programs to establish, maintain, and improve patient quality care standards in our Level 3 Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and execute performance improvement and quality opportunities across the enterprise, enabling successful transformations and driving cost savings, process and product quality, and achievement of business goals.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide expert insight on existing processes and procedures, apply process improvement methodologies to achieve PI/Quality objectives, and build process improvement capabilities.
  • Develop and implement programs to establish, maintain, and improve patient quality care standards.

Requirements:

  • Massachusetts RN Licensure.
  • Three (3) Years of RN experience in a Trauma Center.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Obtain Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) AND Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 12 months of hire.
  • Attend trauma program specific education as assigned.
