Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Controls Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream SP. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history with commercial control contractors and proficiency in tritium, Niagara, and Siemens systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, and commission building automation systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair BAS and control equipment to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability.
  • Integrate various HVAC, lighting, and security systems into a cohesive automation system to enhance building operations and energy management.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure system performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation controls, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency with tritium, Niagara, Siemens, and similar systems, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a stable work history at reputable commercial control contractors.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with additional systems such as distech, N4, Johnson Controls, or Medesis, with certification in relevant BAS systems.
  • Familiarity with energy management and optimization strategies, with a strong understanding of building operations and energy efficiency.
