Job Description

DMG HVAC is a regional, independent sales agency for premier commercial HVAC equipment. Our Service and Controls Division focuses on providing high-quality, local support for the products we represent.

We are seeking a talented Building Automation Controls Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for performing tasks related to programming and commissioning of Building Automation Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Control programming of building automation systems for commercial buildings
  • Program Tridium based controllers to sequence
  • Build control graphics for customer front-end view of a system
  • Update software, troubleshoot complex systems, and create programming software
  • Communicate with customers, provide training, and recommend system improvements
  • Coordinate with managers, provide technical recommendations for sales, and submit documentation promptly
  • Occasionally visit job sites for field programming and troubleshooting
  • Maintain technical proficiency through self-study and certifications

Qualifications

  • Building automation systems (BAS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
  • Familiarity with BAS systems such as Distech, Honeywell, or other

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tridium Niagara
  • HVAC controls programming
  • BACnet communication protocol
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings

Salary: $43.27 per hour
