About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest in a dignified and independent manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide assistance with bathing, toileting, and grooming to ensure good hygiene and self-esteem.
  • Respond to Resident Needs: Respond promptly to call bells and assist residents with their needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support with Mealtime: Serve meals, monitor eating and drinking, and identify dietary concerns to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Accompany Residents: Escort residents to and from the dining room, appointments, and activities to ensure their safety and timely arrival.
  • Conduct Activities and Socialization: Engage residents in planned and spontaneous activities to promote socialization, self-esteem, and a sense of community.
  • Assist with Admission, Discharge, and Transfer: Support the transition of residents into and out of our care facilities to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
  • Age: Be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: Have a high school diploma or GED, or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
