Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Compu-Vision Consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and experience in planning, executing, and supporting large-scale IT network security projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Information Security Officer on projects related to the security improvement roadmap.
Develop plans and produce roadmaps for cybersecurity related projects.
Prepare project specification documents and technical network diagrams using Visio or similar products.
Prepare documentation for presentation and discussion to leadership and coordinate with stakeholders to verify methods, equipment, and timelines.
Scope projects to ensure adequate infrastructure ahead of project implementation and perform hands-on technical work in the execution, implementation, maintenance, and support of large-scale network security projects.
Train existing staff to increase cybersecurity knowledge and awareness and engage with certified teaching staff to manage expectations within their school buildings and negotiate the balance between potentially intrusive security practices and teaching and learning.

Requirements

The selected Cybersecurity Specialist should have:

Demonstrated value in the planning, execution, and support of large-scale IT network security projects.
Experience with large public-school districts or other educational clients.
Detailed project documentation, plans, roadmaps, diagrams, schedules, and post-project follow up.
Detailed regular reporting on key project metrics for management and stakeholders.
Recent, applicable IT network security industry experience in technology consulting.
IT industry certifications in computer networking, virtualization, operating systems, and/or security.
