Job Summary

Calumet College seeks a highly motivated and organized Enrollment Activities Coordinator to support campus and community activities under the Strengthening Hispanic-Serving Institutions grant. This grant-funded position will provide opportunities to increase awareness of and enrollment at Calumet College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events to elevate the college's presence in the community, including local fairs, gatherings, school events, and municipal events.
  • Partner with the admissions team to plan and coordinate enrollment-based events on campus, such as open houses, science fairs, and high school visits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with area community colleges to create opportunities to introduce Calumet College to community college students.
  • Coordinate transfer days on campus and assist in facilitating relationships with area high schools.
  • Conduct parent presentations on campus and in the community to promote Calumet College.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the integrity, high-quality, and consistency of the university's image, tone, style, narrative, visual identity, and brand.
  • Assist in coordinating interdependent short-, medium-, and long-term marketing and communications projects that support and achieve Enrollment Management goals and priorities.
  • Prepare regular reports about activities to meet grant requirements and link activities to enrollment results.
Requirements
  • Ability to respond to requests for service and assistance in a friendly and customer service-oriented manner.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Display willingness to work independently and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge and understanding of organizational goals and objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the NWI community a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in communications, marketing, or social media management.
