Job Title: Clinical Specimen Evaluator

About the Job:
This role involves evaluating specimens for acceptability and liaison with the client services team to ensure smooth triage process. The successful candidate will support the accessioning team with accessioning responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of samples.

Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate triage cases and communicate with the client services team to resolve any issues
* Regularly follow up on pending triage and on-hold samples to maintain quick turnaround and reduce backlog
* Participate in triage process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
* Accurately open packages, access specimens, and scan, check, and file paperwork as needed
* Perform routine and non-routine tasks to carry out departmental workflow
* Maintain lab cleanliness and safety standards, adhering to protocols and guidelines
* Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with more than 7 years of relevant experience or Associate degree with more than 6 years of experience

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
