Electrical Component Sales Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Component Sales Specialist to join our team at Electric Supply Center. As a key face-to-face sales professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our electrical contractors and establishing long-term relationships with them.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate counter sales and take orders while providing quick, accurate, and courteous sales customer service to our electrical contractors.
  • Provide excellent sales customer service in an ethical and professional manner that reflects favorably on our counter sales personnel.
  • Establish, create, foster, and maintain solid long-term relationships with electrical contractors and other customers who have basic electrical needs.
  • Support customers in determining the best product solution to meet individual customer needs.
  • Work with purchasing, outside sales, quotation specialists, and other personnel to provide competitive electrical sales quotes.
  • Answer questions that the customers have about the merchandise.
  • Apply your sales knowledge of the field and our products to effectively sell and market merchandise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years Industry-Specific Experience Required.
  • General Understanding of Electrical Components and Electrical Manufactures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
