As an Electrical Component Sales Associate at Electric Supply Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our electrical customers. Your primary focus will be on the counter sales process, from initial contact to order execution. You will work closely with our electrical contractors, providing knowledgeable industry-specific solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors and other customers
- Provide quick, accurate, and courteous sales customer service
- Support customers in determining the best product solution to meet individual needs
- Work with purchasing, outside sales, and quotation specialists to provide competitive sales quotes
- Answer customer questions about merchandise and apply sales knowledge to effectively sell and market products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of industry-specific experience required
- General understanding of electrical components and manufacturers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain relationships with clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
