Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely opening of the facility each day.
  • Arrive early to prepare the gym for operations and assist members until closing.
  • Welcome members and guests, providing outstanding service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries with enthusiasm and assisting with various questions.
    • Checking in members efficiently.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Handling cash register transactions.
    • Learning and utilizing our management software.
  • Update member accounts as necessary.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when required.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized gym environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A genuine interest in fitness and wellness.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to exceed member expectations.
  • Strong listening skills, capable of empathizing and resolving issues.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation is necessary for consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Capability to stand and remain active throughout shifts.
  • Must be energetic and approachable at all times.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
