Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely opening of the facility each day.
  • Arrive early to conduct a walkthrough and prepare for member access.
  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional service.
  • Manage front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone inquiries in a friendly manner.
    • Checking in members efficiently.
    • Assisting with new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for potential members.
    • Handling cash register operations.
    • Learning and utilizing our computer systems.
  • Update member accounts as necessary.
  • Address member inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when required.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A genuine interest in fitness and health.
  • Positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage positively with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation is necessary for consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service is preferred.
  • Capacity to stand and be active throughout shifts.
  • Maintain an energetic and outgoing presence.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
