Medical Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Planner to join our team at Stantec. As a Medical Planner, you will be responsible for working with project teams to develop medical planning designs for acute and non-acute healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop medical planning designs for healthcare projects, including conceptualization, design development, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that medical planning designs meet client requirements and budget constraints.
  • Utilize BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
  • Evaluate and select building systems and materials to ensure compatibility with design intent.
  • Implement sustainable design principles into the design and environment.
  • Analyze site conditions to ensure that design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in medical planning or a related field.
  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
