We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our Pharmacology Department at Midwestern University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pharmacology courses to graduate students in various healthcare education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach pharmacology courses to graduate students
- Establish an independent research program and secure extramural funding
- Collaborate with pharmacology faculty to develop didactic lectures and active-learning techniques
- Participate in a team-teaching approach to meet the needs of multiple healthcare education graduate programs
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in pharmacology or a closely related field
- Two years of research experience at the postdoctoral level
- Teaching experience is highly desired
The Pharmacology Department is a dynamic and collaborative team of six full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members. We are committed to providing a strong foundation in pharmacology and are seeking a colleague who shares our passion for teaching and research.
